- Lisa Chouinard had always been artistic, and fixing computers for a living, she really needed some kind of creative outlet. She hadn’t really focused on any one art form so she bought a candle-making kit, which then led to soap making. She eventually bought out the local craft store of every soap-making mold, colorant, and fragrance they had in stock! These days, when she’s not knitting, crocheting or swing dancing, she is spearheading a local networking group for Houston area crafters and artists.
